Delete Your Account & Data

You have unconditional ownership of your financial records. Learn how to immediately erase your account or request web-based deletion below.

Method 1 (Instant)

Delete Directly Inside TrackIt

If you have the TrackIt mobile application installed on your Android or iOS device, you can permanently delete your entire account and all associated entries instantly:

  1. Open the TrackIt app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on your Profile or navigate to Settings.
  3. Select Security & Privacy.
  4. Tap Delete Account & Erase All Data.
  5. Confirm the prompt. Your session terminates immediately and all data is permanently purged.
Method 2 (Web Request)

Request Deletion via Web

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your device, submit your registered account email below. We will send a confirmation link to verify your identity and delete your data within 48 hours.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Data Permanently Purged Immediately:

  • Your authentication identity, Google profile email, and user ID.
  • All logged expense records, store names, notes, and receipt timestamps.
  • All memberships in Trip Circles and calculated balances.
  • Any temporary OCR extraction traces or statement cache files.

Data Retention Timeline:

Account and transaction records are deleted from active databases immediately upon confirmation. Encrypted rolling system backups are automatically and irrevocably overwritten within 30 days. No anonymized financial data is kept or sold.
